Extremely excellent gear, pair & enjoy effortless.

Pricey but for me, worthy of it. Connected it to my yamaha amp by way of optical direct. Very good audio with a rock strong connection.

Properly produced, straightforward to set up, uncomplicated to link. Very good seem top quality when related to my naim program, remembering that you are playing mp3’s and not lp’s. Delivers advantage to my hifi procedure for when you just won’t be able to be bothered to get the cds or lps out.

Very quick setup and uncomplicated link to present amplifier set up in my dwelling workplace. Connected instantly to my hifi music participant and seems incredible. Truly impressed with this unit, probably a little on the substantial facet value wise but well worth the money. Feel i could have to obtain an additional a person to connect to the av technique in the lounge.

I wanted to connect my telephone to an old but very fantastic seem method so i could play my itunes – this has excellent bluetooth selection and excellent high-quality and operates room to place. I have tried using other bluetooth receivers but this has been the very best by miles.

I don’t usually produce reviews but this issue blew me away. Leading excellent at a wise value.

Definitely superb piece of package. Possessing found the aural excellent of the aptx codec among a sony superior res audio participant, and a canton dm75, considered i would invest in a pair of aptx enabled receivers for the property hi-fi’s. A person is an arcam miniblink, which is wonderful, and wonderful value, but this audio engine b1 is worthy of every penny extra. It sounds warmer, roomy and extra organic than the arcam. Seriously nice to pay attention to, you forget about it is bluetooth. What i discover most amazing, and inexplicable, is how fantastic it seems streaming 320kb mp3’s from a non-aptx system, namely my apple iphone. Bluetooth genuinely has no correct to audio this excellent, amazing minimal audio engine b1.

Received this paired up with my cairn based mostly hifi and linked to my dell xps 15 notebook (windows ten) and music streamed from amazon music – and it uses the aptx codec, and the audio top quality is just about as great as my 1500 quid cd participant.

Bought this just after in the beginning getting the logitech equal. All i can say is that this device puts logitech to disgrace. Yes it is pricey in comparison but, possessing listened to both equally, the audioengine is in a class of its own. Absolutely no sound whatsoever from my speakers amongst tracks and i wrestle to inform the difference listening to spotify at severe or ordinary setting. After paying for this, rip all your cds then set them up the loft you is not going to have to have them again.

For a bluetooth unit this seems wonderful, but it is nevertheless a bluetooth gadget and as these has the very same limits. For hq music it is effective seriously well, although it is however a far cry from a wired relationship. And if looking at movies then just like any bluetooth system the sound will at periods be out of sync with the video clip. That remaining explained when it is in sync, or your software package can hold off the audio to get it into sync then it is fantastic. I attempted recreation of thrones streaming from my ipad as a take a look at and i could decide out the individual footsteps of different people today in the home clearly ( i use krk vtx4 studio displays). This is definitely not a substitute for a wired link, the audio i get as a result of a wired link on my studio displays is substantially greater, but for ease this unit is terrific.

Not low cost but well worthy of the selling price if you are passionate about music. Important to pair with a correct high fidelity and not just any hello-fi. The vary is in extra of 15mtrs which was a principal motive for me.

Did not say what ac plug will come with this distinct design. Neither it was checked on the box (i’m from eu and it arrived with british isles plug = are unsuccessful). So i bought my galaxy s4 charger to do the job with it in its place (it has the very same attributes). Other than that, it is really a excellent bluetooth receiver for a critical audiophile. Perfectly constructed high quality, exceptional audio (just after 40-50 several hours of beak-in time).

I made a decision to hook up my smartphone and stream some tunes to my hello fi. After some research i arrived across favourable opinions for the audioengine b1 and decided it was the only just one that i would purchase. Very frankly the sound high-quality is excellent thinking of the limitations of mp3 and bluetooth. As soon as you have paired your unit to the b1 it remembers your mobile phone (or other streaming system) and switches on and off routinely when you activate or deactivate bluetooth. If you decide bluetooth streaming advantage is for you, then the audioengine is the ideal you can get for the rate without paying out a handful of hundred kilos. Great make, exceptional seem and very handy to use.

Limitef i guess by the bluetooth bridge. The seem does not disappoint.

The ideal bluetooth receiver out there, so great that i acquired yet another 1, pretty highly-priced in truth, but well worth it if u appreciate high quality music, labored nicely with my apple iphone, ,.

Definitely exceptional sound and link dependability. Has introduced my aged hi fi back to lifestyle and my iphone seems like a large stop cd participant. Supplied phono leads are mediocre.

This unit also has excellent range and doesn’t momentarily drop the signal, as cheaper units are prone to do. One proviso – you’ll need to adjust your itunes equaliser to match your system in order to get the best results. I guess that comes with bluetooth territory.

Bluetooth streaming has always been an issue for audiophiles & i held back until i saw this product.   12. I bought this to replace a logitech bluetooth receiver. A marked improvement in terms of the sound quality connected to my teac reference 600 receiver. In particular the stereo channel separation is much improved as is the output volume and tone. Only just started using it so cannot comment if audio engine’s assertion that 50 hours ‘burn in’ will result in a further improvement of sound quality. Anyone who has a half decent hi-fi system who wants bt connectivity should consider this gem.

    Bought this to replace the cheaper logitech equivalent. This is a great piece of kit. Sounds amazing and i can walk around my entire house without any drop outs. Well worth the extra money over the cheaper alternatives.

    Bought this unit to replace a well respected £100 bluetooth unit. This unit is several times better than my old bluetooth unit. Much greater clarity and you can really hear into the musicin a way that my old unit couldn’t deliver. I also like the fact it uses standard rca leads so i could tryout some of my own leads rather than the ones that came with the unit. I think the leads i decided to use cost about £100 a few years ago. With this unit i could detect the diffrences between the leads. Very impressed with the sound improvement so far.

    1. Expensive, but really well made and works perfectly. It was really simple to connect my xperia z5 to it with bluetooth and the sound quality is superb.

    1. Good points:fantastic sound quality for what it is. I tried several of the cheaper bluetooth adapters and was really disappointed with the quality – this knocks them out of the water. This for me is the main selling point and the reason i purchased the item. I struggle to hear any difference between the files played through my pc speakers and the output on my stereo via this deviceeasy to set up – i stream music from my computer to the stereo via a small usb bluetooth adapter plugged in to my pc. Does drop out occasionally but only for a split second and it this is few and far betweeni can now access all of my digitally stored music on my stereogood reception – it’s about 5 metres from the device to my bluetooth adapter and this works very wellbad points:it is quite a lot of money. Tip: search on amazon warehouse to see if they have one with an opened box for slightly cheaper. This is what i did and saved about £25very minor, but does need a power socket. I have my stereo, a turntable and this all plugged in which means a trail of power wiresvery occasionally has issues with windows 10, my music starts to stutter. I am using my b1 with a sony xperia z3+ (with aptx) coupled via the optical out to a high end denon amp & b&w cdm speakers and it sounds great, i’m also concurrently using the rca outs into a mixing desk to drive a 2k pa system and this also sounds extremely good, especially when you consider that i am using 320kbps mp3 with their obvious limitations. The sound (to my ears at least) is not far off cd quality, coupled with the ease of use that mp3 music affords make this a stand out purchase for me – recommended.

    I purchased this september 2015. Simply marvellous, connects easily and i’d definitely recommend this. Ps the others are cheap and break, or pack up after a while some of them like the fidelity one makes a terrible clicking.
    1. I purchased this september 2015. Simply marvellous, connects easily and i’d definitely recommend this. Ps the others are cheap and break, or pack up after a while some of them like the fidelity one makes a terrible clicking.
      1. Not cheap but well worth the price if you are passionate about music. Important to pair with a true high fidelity and not just any hi-fi. The range is in excess of 15mtrs which was a primary reason for me.

    Excellent sound quality, a big step up over the cheap logitech receiver i was using. But i’ve found that i can get equally good sound quality using the google chromecast audio device, which is £15 compared to £145, so no contest in the value for money stakes.
