I’ve had this sub-matchbox sized bit of kit for only two days but it has brought a better way of listening to music/radio from my z1 compact phone using my old 1970s analogue jvc amp/stereo system and a newer denon digital dab/cd/amp, both with powered speakers (mission). I can now, without having to trail wires from my phone to the amps, listen to tracks and playlists while working or doing chores and still answer the phone without dragging wires. The set up was easy on either android or ios devices – the tiny manual is all you need. It comes with two short leads for connection to either a 3. 5mm stereo input socket or a pair of rca plugs for aux in sockets on the back of an amp. The fully charged battery lasted about 3 or 4 housr of continuous play but it will also work with the dc charging lead plugged in. No charger is supplied but the lead has a usb plug which fits a standard android or apple tablet/phone mains plug charging unit. This device is fantastic value for money and gives excellent sound quality with surprisingly robust base frequencies – no need for boost.
Good stuff and simple to set up and connect. Although the range is not impressive and it starts skipping after a very short distance and 2 open doors. Including a simple charger (besides the cable) would also be a quite smart idea.
I was looking for a better way to connect the music player on my phone to my hifi than using a lead from the headphones socket, which tends to give a quiet and rather muddy sound – something to do with the output needed to drive earphones being less than the hifi amp needs, i guess. (i’m sure someone will correct if that’s wrong). This does the job perfectly – it gives much better sound, maybe not quite cd quality, even with 320 sound quality, but pretty close. The receiver came on time, was surprisingly small, and does what i bought it for – a splendid bit of kit at a bargain price. My only minor grumbles would be that the leads that come with are are low quality, and the battery life seems to be only three or four hours (though i think they tell you that). But for a tenner, this is fantastic.
Plugged into usb on television connected digital lead pressed button my head phones locked on very quickly plug and play very simple to set up now if as reliable as set up a good choice i think not much more to be said very small solid looking plasticky box shame they don’t include a toss cable but ordered one on same day on same delivery it works.

This is a really compact light piece of kit that turned my non bluetooth tv into 1 which could transmit to bluetooth headphones or other equipment. It was very easy to pair with my bluetooth headphones and very good value for money. It is small enough to be unnoticed when attached to the tv and i will be using them in my caravan to listen to the tv when others have gone to bed. I will be able to use them with my tablet when on skype etc as there is a built in microphone as well.
By that i mean, it has great functionality. Easy to set up and pair, led indicators for status, it can be used while it is beign charged, so is perfect for old hifi systems without bluetooth. This is good if you want it to stay in the same place. On the flip side, the sound quality is questionable. Going from a relitively expensive aux cord, to this bluetooth reciever there is a noticeable drop it audio quality, this isn’t me just being picky as i rarely write reviews. It doesn’t quite manage the highs or lows, with faint background crackling. But don’t buy expecting to make your super expensive hifi wireless, as it is a compromise between mobility and quality.
Great purchase, works really well with headphones. Instructions not too clear but soon sorted out by a chap at their customer service so very pleased. Superb value and good quality. Excellent delivery and packaging to protect.
Once charged, it took less than a minute to connect from my non smart tv to my , august headphones. . Simply connect one end of the headphone end type of wire to your tv, then the other to your bluetooth device switch to tx, then switch on your headphones, wait a few seconds and like magic you’re there. It is that easybattery life is great, size is like a small matchstick box.
Bought this as i had bought the speakers as well and wanted this to send the blue tooth signal from my old tv across the bedroom to the speakers but it was a bit intermittent so filed this under ‘bin’ and bought an extra long earphone wire an connected the speakers to that and tacked the cable to the skirting board.
Works very well, good sound through my denon system, no obvious sounds when there is no music playing or between tracks, i would have given it 5 stars if you didn’t have to disconnect from it before another source i. E another phone or tablet can be used. I looked at an lg sound bar with 300w before i bought this and thought it sounded awful, no mid range at all so i am so glad that i bought this and can keep using my little denon system.
Plugged it in , switched on, pressed button on headphones and hey prestolinked first time with no noticeable speech sync loss. Only used one channel so far.
Handy little box plugs into the back of our samsung tv and allows me (and optionally one other) to listen in to tv without disturbing others in nearby rooms. Perfectly satisfactory bluetooth range – if you can see your tv, you are in range :-).
So,i bought 1 unit & it linked itself to my kindle very quickly,so i then linked it to my prestigio (smartphone) plugged this little black box into my b&o & wow. I am no expert on these things this was so easy & it works very well. Yes some reviews have said that the volume on your sender unit has to be on full but i don’t think this is an issue as my hi fi is very capable of power output if required & no loss of sound in any areas bass treble or quality,so i have ordered another two of these little magic boxes at just over £10. 00 pounds & post free happy days. You get what you pay for & i think in the case of this product its a bargain.
I used this to make my av receiver bluetooth enabled. My av receiver has a usb power supply at the back so i used this to provide the power, then i connected the output cable to the cd input on the av receiver. So now i choose cd as the input on the amp, turn on bluetooth on my phone, select the august bluetooth receiver and start playing my music on the phone and out it comes on the big speakers in the lounge. It also handles connecting and disconnecting of my wife’s phone really well. Obviously you can only have one phone connected at a time. The quality of the music is just as good as connecting the phone directly to the amp using the headphone socket on the phone and connecting to the amps cd input. So really impressed for the price.
We were told when we went to currys store that you cannot have two bluetooth headsets to listen to tv and we would have to get wired headsets. We then found this on amazon and it’s amazing. Easy to pair with the headsets and we now listen to films late at night through the headphones as we have just moved a flat. We bought the august headphones as another reviewer stated they had and we are so glad we did. The sound is like being at the cinema.
Once i received a working example this did the job well and very simply. 1st one was faulty, 2nd one was never delivered (amazons fault) and finally got the 3rd which worked. I had tried other makes and they were faulty to. So glad to say this one does exactly what it states. Dual blue tooth headphone support.
Procured this to stream songs to my household cinema. It capabilities incredibly very well, and transfers audio at great good quality, as considerably as i am worried. What is disappointing it that the bluetooth assortment falls off severely, and pretty rapidly as the battery runs down. This is fairly an problem as the mobile phone or computer requires to be almost next to the device to stream audio. If plugged into a mains charger in the course of use, it just generates an terrible hum so it is superior in principal but falls down poorly on practicality. Then i upgraded my process to involve an av receiver. This has a usb socket on the rear. Now i have the device plugged into that and phono sales opportunities to the auxilliary enter. Works like a aspiration as it truly is generally on entire power. August items do look quite good for a realistic value.
