For me, it is too early to say if it as good as a cd played through a quality deck, but the music is significantly better than anything that i had heard so far from any bluetooth linked system. Expensive but provides for a very decent musical experience,have since been able to compare the performance with a ‘lossless’ flac streaming source of blueme vs a chromecast audio device connected to my old amplifier via an optical digital lead.
