Libreelec dual boot kodi runs well with video library also. I use another well known premium quality box {m***x} and i’m finding the user experience just as good if not better (in some areas) with the droidbox.

    I have been looking for a android box for ages and this one by droidbox ticks all the boxes. I have had no problems with installing the apps i want to use. Instructions are easy to follow. The build quality is of a high standard higher than others i have seen. I would recommend this item to anyone.

    First impressions was how quiet it was. Not as in the running of the machine but no sound. It is connected to my av amp using a hdmi cable and port that i know works, plug the hdmi back into the firetv it could be replacing and i get sound. Read the various support pages and nothing. I posted into the droid box forum, and as yet no reply. I am sensing that i may have a faulty box but not sure yet how to prove it. Also, the machine doesn’t seem to respond to a bluetooth keyboard (which paired perfectly) but was too busy checking on the sound last night. First impressions are mixed.

I wanted an android box primary for playing my video and music files through the tv. The droidbox does this with better quality than i had before and doesn’t crash. Also the customer service was great, helping me out when i got confused with a couple of set up issues. But the big bonus for me was that this runs emulators for the old arcade games i played when i was a kid. Very happy with the product and customer service. My only regret is i didn’t buy the box with the games controller to start with.
    1. I previously had an android box from a chinese company. When it stopped working after a couple of months i decided to pay a bit extra and replace it with a droidbox and i’m so glad i did.     This box is the third one i have purchased and all three are grate value also work very well. Only comment i would suggest is i cannot get use to the remote supplied with the box ,i have always purchased the air mouse to operate the box. Why not supply an air mouse with this box for a few pounds more and have more happy customerswould have been 5 star with an air mouse.

    Arrived today, and took me a few minutes to set up. Don’t waste your money on smart tvs (i have one) where the apps will become outdated. Get a droid box and make every tv smart. It’s user friendly with an intuitive interface. Has the same settings menu as an android phone, so if you can use a mobile phone, you can easily set this up.

    At first the droid box was alien to me, in fact i didn’t like it. However, after getting used to it i love it now. It’s a great piece of kit and as long as you give it fair time to get used to it then you’ll love it too. A decent knowledge of kodi is needed or at least a willingness to learn but there are so many resources on the internet to help you if you need help. It’s a really great piece of tech, very powerful and capable of a very high definition, on my 4k tv 4k sources are magnificent. Ask yourself why you want it and unless your know about these things ask yourself if you are willing to spend an hour or so learning, if you already know the score or if you are prepared to learn then this box will delight you.

    1. Nice bit of kit easy to set up and the gaming is very very good. I’ve tired other boxes nothing comes close to this this is my second droidbox i had a older model which was good but this is the dogs nuts the only thing is vip remote isn’t great mine rattles and some buttons don’t function (could be bothered to return) i use the normal remote and i have a mini keyboard too so no worries. Remember droidbox support is second to none if you need help go to the website online help or even ring them .I cannot believe some of the comments.
