    I plugged it in and it works a treat with the tv. My other half is delighted to be able to view rightmove on the telly. It is giving a good wifi connection.

The only downside i can really think of is that there are a lot of cables involved, a hdma a to a hdmi b, then the dongle, then a micro-usb to wifi antenna and usb port for charging. As long as you don’t mind it looking a bit ugly on the back of the device you’re going to connect it to, this is just a minor issue. I can’t comment on experience with apple devices though. But, from my experience – it’s great.
