Super very little radio, quick to established up with a wonderful seem. This changed a intricate and underperforming roberts radio – we are not able to get dab or fm – so depend on internet radio. The hama has large features and works out of the box.

Its alright but not fairly in good shape for my function. If it was equipped free as it has been to some of the reviewers below i would of give it five stars. I just imagined it was a wee bit overpriced for what it does and the simple fact it lacked bluetooth intended i ended up sending it back for a refund. The interface is alright as is the color monitor but i am guaranteed they have been accredited from philips previous variety of wac7500 streamium gamers. Which is not a negative point as i possess 1 and they are ok but a little bit long in the tooth now, i am certain that is where by most of the cost on this device goes. Never get me completely wrong the make top quality is wonderful, sound is great and the dab and the community functions function seriously nicely, i just felt it was missing considerably when in contrast to other units from other brands. If this device was near to or sub £100. 00 i consider it would quickly get 5 stars each and every time, but i am not certain a brand like hama can leverage nearly £150. Shut but no cigar, there are superior alternate options but a ton of persons will be happy with it.

    This is my second wifi internet radio, my first was a roberts. Just like the roberts, this hama worked perfect for two and a half years. Now it wont connect to the wifi. Bought this for my kitchen just for the dab radio, but its a lot more than just a radio,internet radio is the best (so many stations), usb slot is handy if you have a memorystick full of music, if not plug in your mp3 player in the back aux in socket. Haven’t used any of theother settings yet, best “radio” i ever bought 5*****.

    The software update from hama now means that as at july 2017, it’s now possible to listen to bbc podcasts and that’s why i’ve revised my stars upwards. This product (i have now bought a total of three of them – they were not given – i paid for them) now gets 5 stars. It’s a brilliant radio and even my dad, to whom i’ve given one, finds it easy to use. The radio’s portable enough to move from room to room and if it had bluetooth i wouldn’t use it. I bought a bluetooth transmitter for £10 so i could connect it up, just in case i wanted the bluetooth facility but i wasted that £10 as it’s in its box still unused. The plus side of no internal bluetooth is that there’s less to go wrong. If there was a fire at home i’d grab my cards, hama radio and laptop – in that order (that assumes the family have left aready). If you’re weighing up an internet/network radio then stop looking.     1. Really excited to get this radio. However within one week of use, unit kept locking up (no buttons would work). So had to keep switching off at the mains and back on again to reset the unit. After numerous times locking up reluctanly sent radio back for replacement. New replacement radio has now arrived. Locked up once so far within two days of use. Such a shame as it looks great and works well (when it isn’t locked up )03. 16well sadly this new replacement unit is now locking up and has to be totally switched off at the mains to reboot. Real shame as we love the look and functionality of the radio. Will go for the roberts stream now. Not as good looking but hopefully better.

    But – when product arrived and we plugged it in, it didn’t work. We read and re-read the instructions but couldn’t find any reason for it not to work. We were ready to return the product when , on very close inspection, we realised that the plug didn’t have a fuse. The item was a birthday present and it caused upset and stress when it didn’t work.

    Interface is a little clunky and shame it cant directly play spotify (needs to be have it pushed to it).

    I bought this primarily for the spotify connect feature that lets me stream music from my mobile devices to this over my wi-fi network, and for that purpose it works really well. Set-up was straightforward, and included the option for the device to automatically download updates from the manufacturer which is useful. The device connected to my wireless network without difficulty (entering the wpa key is a ittle fiddly but that’s to be expected). Streaming from an ipad running the spotify client has been fine so far, with the audio clear and disruption-free.
