Interface is a very little clunky and disgrace it cant specifically play spotify (desires to be have it pushed to it).

Uncomplicated set up and is effective just about every little bit as well as hoped.

A radio that sounds superior and really easey to link to wifi controledby distant or from the app.

Perfect dimension for our kitchen area good tone and so a lot of channels to decide on variety.

Very good internet and dab reception. Snooze alarms alter display brightnes and more.

It is really fantastic, purchase it(i wrote out a substantial review and why i thought this radio was great, but when i went to incorporate a image.

Its ok but not pretty suit for my intent. If it was supplied free of charge as it has been to some of the reviewers below i would of give it 5 stars. I just imagined it was a wee little bit overpriced for what it does and the simple fact it lacked bluetooth intended i finished up sending it again for a refund. The interface is okay as is the color display but i am positive they have been certified from philips old assortment of wac7500 streamium players. That is not a negative detail as i very own a person and they are alright but a bit extended in the tooth now, i am convinced that is exactly where most of the price tag on this unit goes. You should not get me incorrect the create high quality is great, audio is great and the dab and the network functions work actually very well, i just felt it was lacking to some degree when compared to other models from other companies. If this unit was close to or sub £100. 00 i feel it would very easily get five stars every single time, but i am not sure a model like hama can leverage nearly £150. Shut but no cigar, there are far better solutions but a great deal of folks will be contented with it.

This really is a great method. I preferred an internet streaming radio with dab&fm functionality and this seriously matches the monthly bill. An aged advantage is the usb enter and ethernet port so there are heaps of selections i can use on this system. The menu technique is easy to use and the stereo sound high-quality from its diminutive speakers is great. Is simply loud ample to use as the most important radio in my lounge. I’ve downloaded a stack of albums onto a 32gb usb and tune into that when i get bored with radio broadcasts. If you are common with internet radio the menu system will be incredibly common. Making it possible for variety of stations by genre and locale or by selection from a list. The station i preferred want in the record so i typed it in and utilised the look for. Hey presto, up popped my station.

In no way experienced an internet radio before read one at a friends being an avid rock fan i liked the thought of becoming capable to hear rock any time i wanted and not the drivel the bbc churns out following a whole lot of investigate i chose the hama and i appreciate it i connected by means of an ethernet cable i experienced lying close to turned it on setup wizard did the rest crisp punchy audio superb bass very perfectly defined guitar and drums fantastic replica pretty good volume usb port head phone socket line in line out pretty very well specified piece of package ideal matter i acquired for years would endorse to you.

Solidly-created, very responsive controls, incredibly superior top quality seem. A tad high-priced when in contrast to the ocean wr-230, but still least expensive mid-array model. Pausing playback when enjoying individual media not preserved when change off/on, nor can do a ff/rw, creating this purpose quite ineffective apart from for very shorter tracks (identical on ocean radio, btw).

Have had one particular these hama ir one hundred ten internet radios for a number of months now. And feel it is fine piece of package. The tone is wonderful for the dimensions of theunit, environment up is simple ,and the distant control w orks properly. This is my very first internet radio and i feel significantly greater than dab wonderful clearreception and tone try out crystal radio station from toronto leading class music.

  1. Having owned various wifi radios over the years this one is the best. I own a roberts 83i which i use in the bedroom ,the hama beats it hands down on podcasts because you can f/f or rewind the podcast. The sound quality is very good full stereo. Overall a very good purchase.

    1. Sound was good set up a bit complicated over other radios, i kept losing the left hand channel for no reason which led me to send it back for a refund eventually buying a roberts. Useless as a radio alrm clock as doesnt always grab the wifi signal.

    Was working away grand for the last 11 months and today just no power, dead. Changed the fuse and still no joy. I would have thought there would have been a warranty on it for a year but no.

    Hello,hama dir 3200: a radio with a function that others don’t have: the “back to sleep aid lullaby function”. As most of the comments have described, this radio breathes quality. The sound is good, intelligible at low volume (even if the low volume is not its primary vocation) to be able to install the station near the bed, medium fm reception (mean in my corner of the countryside, i do not have dab and internet is weak and very irregular). The remote control is a real remote control, which holds well in your hand. It provides almost all functions in a pleasant way. The organization and hierarchy of functions are well thought out, in search of simplicity. It also has the specific function that i was desperate to find and which can interest people with frequent night awakenings:the possibility of turning the radio on for a short time (15 minutes or more) by a simple gesture not to wake up too much. The sleep-timer function is usually designed by engineers for the person who has decided to fall asleep while listening to the radio, not for the person who wants to be accompanied to go back to sleep. In the first case, the “sleep-timer” is activated while the radio is in operation. In the second case, the “limited operating time” is activated while the radio is switched off (more precisely in standby mode).

    1. Replacement for a pure evoke flow with a dead display, and used as a kitchen radio. Reasonably easy to set up, especially the dab auto-tune and the internet radio, and the functionality is everything that’s advertised. Fm set-up wasn’t quite so intuitive – no auto-tune for fm, it seems, and it couldn’t find that many stations. Not an issue, fm is hardly used anyway. It has an internet radio menu section for the bbc stations, which is nice – the dab tuner couldn’t find bbc5+, but it plays flawlessly on the ir. Other internet radio stations are difficult to find, just like they have been on internet radios for the last ten years, using the same continent/country/genre search, and many of my favourite stations are missing. Hopefully the app will help with that (will try later). I haven’t tried spotify or streaming yet, either. Only ten presets each for dab, fm and ir, though. Makes the app vital – it better work flawlessly, or the rating will go down to two stars.

    I purchased this dir3100 to compliment my existing ir110. I specifically wanted to use the multi-room function (as advertised) however the option seems to be missing from this device. Undok is displaying it as a ‘standalone’ device. If it’s ‘user error’ then i’m happy to increase the rating if someone can assist please?.

This product (i have now bought a total of three of them – they were not given – i paid for them) now gets 5 stars. It’s a brilliant radio and even my dad, to whom i’ve given one, finds it easy to use. The radio’s portable enough to move from room to room and if it had bluetooth i wouldn’t use it. I bought a bluetooth transmitter for £10 so i could connect it up, just in case i wanted the bluetooth facility but i wasted that £10 as it’s in its box still unused. The plus side of no internal bluetooth is that there’s less to go wrong. If there was a fire at home i’d grab my cards, hama radio and laptop – in that order (that assumes the family have left aready). If you’re weighing up an internet/network radio then stop looking.     I bought this for the kitchen and was really impressed with it. A very compact unit but for this reason stereo separation suffers especially if pushed up close to the wall as the speakers are mounted on the side. It goes surprisingly loud for it’s size and more bass than you would expect with a clear sound with tone controls and a dsp. The display is very clear and set up was simple, connecting to the router was also easy. Playback from a usb stick was good with the track titles displayed but no artwork as it has a mono screen. It comes with remote control but not really necessary as the buttons work well and are very positive in use. It could be used as an alarm clock / radio for the bedroom as it has alarm and snooze functions. The photo shows how small it is compared to drink cansthe only dislike about the unit was the external power supply which has two pins euro style that goes into a three pin uk style adapter (supplied) this made it very bulky and as my socket was behind the fridge freezer made it stick out. The only option is to buy another power supply with the same voltage or a different adapter to keep it close to the wall this maybe a deal breaker for some.

      1. Really excited to get this radio. However within one week of use, unit kept locking up (no buttons would work). So had to keep switching off at the mains and back on again to reset the unit. After numerous times locking up reluctanly sent radio back for replacement. New replacement radio has now arrived. Locked up once so far within two days of use. Such a shame as it looks great and works well (when it isn’t locked up )03. 16well sadly this new replacement unit is now locking up and has to be totally switched off at the mains to reboot. Real shame as we love the look and functionality of the radio. Will go for the roberts stream now. Not as good looking but hopefully better.

I hope this is a software problem that will be resolved in a future upgrade but as it is i would avoid these items. Following a software update my 4 radios work fine, so i have upgraded from 2 to 4 stars.
    1. Living in qc, canada, i bought two of these from amazon uk. Reason is simple: as of today, kinda strange that an internet radio is still a niche product in north america. Few where the choices, so i went with what seemed to be the best bang for the buck: grace encore. And what a disapointment it was: the unit felt like it was coming from the cheapest chinese plant possible and assembled with dated mid 80’s technology. Fortunately, as usual, return was a breeze thanks to amazon. So i’ve lurked what was available in europe and, to my surprise, such thing as an internet radio was more democratized over there. The main purpose of the device i was interested in, was the alarm function (wanted to wake to non local radio stations as they’re all garbage stations in my area). So, again, i went ahead with what i then considered the best bang for the buck after some research: hama ir110. And what a relief: a little box with strong specs, very well built and exactly what one could expect from an internet radio in 2016. Plus it is meeting my requirements when it comes to an alarm device (only thing i regret is the lack of a nap function though).

    Living in qc, canada, i bought two of these from amazon uk. Reason is simple: as of today, kinda strange that an internet radio is still a niche product in north america. Few where the choices, so i went with what seemed to be the best bang for the buck: grace encore. And what a disapointment it was: the unit felt like it was coming from the cheapest chinese plant possible and assembled with dated mid 80’s technology. Fortunately, as usual, return was a breeze thanks to amazon. So i’ve lurked what was available in europe and, to my surprise, such thing as an internet radio was more democratized over there. The main purpose of the device i was interested in, was the alarm function (wanted to wake to non local radio stations as they’re all garbage stations in my area). So, again, i went ahead with what i then considered the best bang for the buck after some research: hama ir110. And what a relief: a little box with strong specs, very well built and exactly what one could expect from an internet radio in 2016. Plus it is meeting my requirements when it comes to an alarm device (only thing i regret is the lack of a nap function though).
