LG Electronics LG MR140 Wireless Multi-room Bridge, How to add LG Music Flow Bridge to network.

Excellent accent for the lg process.

I bought a single of these just yesterday and have had these kinds of a trouble connecting it and the speakers to develop a wired relationship – ‘which’ suggests it is not uncomplicated but provides no recommendations – so i am going to write some hopefully straightforward to abide by guidance from the notes i manufactured. Obtain tunes stream onto your pc you can get this from google enjoy. Open tunes flow, click on on configurations (cog wheel icon) at best proper. On remaining menu bar click on the additionally indicator in a double box upcoming to ‘speakers’ – this is the incorporate component button, pick bridge – you need to have to do this initial. On subsequent web site pick out wireless, click on on next6.

Hard to get enthusiastic about a medium gray box with a one led. Having said that, it has been incredibly helpful at building a wifi bridge and tying all our lg tunes stream solutions with each other and retaining them steady. I think that if you’re going to buy into lg new music move as a system you should truly devote in one particular of these to plug straight into your router, as people devoid of this complain about speakers consistently dropping out (a thing that is only occurred to me when after this experienced been set up).

  1. Stopped working, noticed i kept loosing speakers (like i did before i invested in this lg mr140), so turned off and on the mr140 (at mains, as no switch) & its dead as a dodothe whole lg music flow system is actually awful, got it as i have an expensive lg oled (950v, lovely tv, but certainly not without issues) and i was looking at a samsung sound-bar & i noticed the lg sh7 so got that instead. I then bought 2x h3 speakers which i found to be very flakey, kept vanishing from music-flow app, & extremely poor surround sound (non existent). So, i thought i’d buy this lg mr140 and setup a mesh network, i must admit, it was then quite a bit better, less flakey, but unless i’m doing something wrong (i’m a technical engineer. ) then its still a poor excuse for surround. Disappointed to say the least, and i suspect this whole music flow hardware (& software) was just rushed out to market as other ‘brands’ already had their products out. The original price for this (approx £50) and the h3 speakers i have (approx. £150 each) was utter madness for such a flakey setup. The sh7 sound bar is not too bad (newer model. 2016, where as the mr140 & h3’s are last years models), but i shall be looking for something that i can get some sort of surround sound from, overall, i have spent £450 on this setup & i’m not a happy bunny, i should have just got the ysp2500 yamaha i saw at richer sounds for the same price (at the time, that’s gone up to £499 now that the ysp2700 has been released?. )lg, you have ruined your brand name with this product.

Hard to get excited about a medium grey box with a single led. However, it has been very effective at creating a wifi bridge and tying all our lg music flow products together and keeping them stable. I think that if you’re going to buy into lg music flow as a system you should really invest in one of these to plug straight into your router, as people without this complain about speakers constantly dropping out (something that’s only happened to me once after this had been installed).

    1. I bought one of these just yesterday and have had such a problem connecting it and the speakers to create a wired connection – ‘which’ says it isn’t easy but gives no instructions – so i am going to write some hopefully easy to follow instructions from the notes i made. Download music flow onto your pc you’ll get this from google play. Open music flow, click on settings (cog wheel icon) at top right. On left menu bar click on the plus sign in a double box next to ‘speakers’ – this is the add component button, select bridge – you need to do this first. On next page select wireless, click on next6.
