    1. The minix neo u9-h is up there with the best android tv boxes available on the market. I own an amazon fire tv box and the nvidia shield tv so i know what a good android tv box should perform like. If you do not wish to read the full review, i will summarise my experiences with minix u9-h for you. The u9-h is absolutely fantastic and has taken its place as my main tv box. It performs flawlessly, it is fast not only for video streaming (kodi, netflix etc. In full hd and 4k) but also for games, browsing the web and accessing the millions of apps available on the google playstore. If you are looking for an android tv box, look no further than the minix u9-h. If you want to know a little more about the box, please read on. The minix u9-h maintains the simple but stylish black box design as with previous minix models. It looks exactly the same as my minix windows 10 platform.

I love this box but you should get the a3 remote that goes with it as it is a must, i do not think it should be sold without it and there are many other dealers which are selling it at a combined price. I made the costly mistake of buying the box and then finding i should have got the a3 remote. Other than that this is a excellent bit of kit and would have given it 5 stars if it came with the a3 remote.

    I love this box but you should get the a3 remote that goes with it as it is a must, i do not think it should be sold without it and there are many other dealers which are selling it at a combined price. As always minix does it again by producing another top of the range boxsuperb quality packagingfast delivery (next day on amazon prime delivery you can trail it if you dont want the membership just make sure to close before 30th day otherwise its 70 odd squid but if you get the amazon video package you get prime fast delivery thrown in with it)i find there email support one of the best ive had to deal with when i had a slight issue with my minix u1 (was a kodi issue)i was going to buy another u1 for the bedroom but then seen this upgrade and it was a no brainer to be fair ive always been a believer in these 2 rules when purchasing electronics. . Buy the best you can afford at the time of purchaseand if its not broken dont fix it. . Always does right by me and thanks to the minix team for a hassle free product and servicejust make sure the first thing you do when you turn on any android boxdo the updates before anything else and keep it updated and you shouldnt have any problemsi would highly recommend minix wether its the u9 or the u1 boxnot worth the hassle of buying a cheap ass box and having to mess about with it all the time it makes viewing you content a reallll drag splash out treat yourself.

It has 4 usb ports ethernet port & has to be connected to the tv using a hdmi cable. I my self use mine for kodi to watch stuff but you can research that your self.

The minix neo u9 -h is the newest model & definitely does not disappoint it runs on android marshmallow 6. 1 & has 2g ddr3 (32-bit) memory16g storage so enough room for plenty of apps. 0 up to 4k a great addition due to 4k being used more frequently than ever.     It had kodi 17,1 beta and most of the material already in would not work,all additional builds and single repositories ,i put in would not connect. After much messing about, i installed an earlier version of kodi and that worked fine. Good 4k from some sites and others did not clear but i think that was the source material. The reason i decided to return the box was because it would not recognise either of my seagate external hard drives whereas the earlier model the minx neo u1 accepts both and plays perfect 4k movies with dolby atmos sound and 7,1 dts.

    They say you get what you pay for. This box is great,build quality is superb as soon as you pick it up you know its a quality product. It works perfectly no problems. This is my second box from minix, my first was neo 1 another superb box, it’s my daughter’s now. The minix packaging shouts quality, delivered in two days. What else can i say, if you want a android box get one as i said you get what youpay for.

     the u9-h is the latest machine developed by minix and it features the latest amlogic soc s912, 2gb ddr3 ram and 16gb of flash emmc 5. 0 storagein terms of raw performance we wont see much differences between the minix u1 (s905) and the u9-h (s912), in benchmarks we do see them but in a real life situation both machines are more than capable of handling any game available on the google play store and able to play 4k movies without issues. In my video review i did include the following:- quick unboxing & descriptionbenchmarks:- disk speed test- network speed test- geekbench 4- 3d mark score extreme- epic citadelgaming:- android platform gaming- game streamvideo playback:- netflix- youtube- plays up to 4k h264 and h265 codecs 8bit and 10bit video playback without issuesios / osx mirror / stream:using the included app airpin pro i was able to stream from my phone and mac high bit rate files such as the live slide showsand although i dont see any differences in raw performance compared with the minix u1 i do have to admit that having android 6. 0 is a plus because we can insert any sd card and expand the internal storage to install aps etci haven’t found any issue with the minix u9-h, its a great android 6.
