Easy to set up and work, but does get a little loud after a while with the fan’s going off.

Not as good as you sky box but price and performance as excellent value for money, stop and rewind is great you can’t record but all the apps mean you can use catchup tv. And i have said goodbye to sky and love now for value for price.

Easy to set up, connect to the internet, updates software ready for action, once you have an account with nowtv you are away and the 3 month entertainment pass is great.

Purchased as a gift for my dad who misses football but doesn’t want the contracts etc with sky. As long as your internet speed is high it works a treat. The box only streams in 720p – worth noting as on anything bigger than 32 inch tv you will notice the lack of sharpness compared to the sky signal (1080i) but for contract free it does everything you’d want.

Shouldn’t advertise that 3 month entertainment pass is included if it’s only 1 month pass included. Read other reviews where this is a common thing.

Excellent product but needs access to other pay to view events like ukplay has to offer.

Super value but i wish the remote had numbers on it. Scrolling through freeview channel lists line by line is very frustrating. Otherwise no complaints – great hd picture from nowtv and the tuner.

Bought mine via electronics direct, well packed, all as described and working perfectly.

Typical price for this is about £45 from major retailers, here it is £13, yes it does not have a power supply or remote control but these can be bought from sky or other and still make a saving of 50%. Have been using for the past few weeks and i can’t fault it for working and condition, if i had long arms i would pat myself on the back for an excellent buy.

I only bought this because my xbox broke and i like to watch f1 on sky so no contract which is great. It was very simple to set upand put my credit on to watch f1. I like this very much and i am very pleased with my now tv box.

Very easy to set up only thing i did not like was although i had paid for two mouths i still had to give payment details other than that i am enjoying it.

Would highly recommend the now tv smart box. A more than adequate replacement for the digital boxes we had previously for half the price. Would recommend an aerial as well (we didn’t have one) to make use of the free to air channels.

One of the best things someone why loves entertainment at its finest. This box allows access to freeview channels as well as the entertainment pass for now tv. Its a great package as everything works out to be a lot cheaper than montly payments.

Bought this for my parents for christmas and they absolutely love it. I went onto the nowtv website and got an amazing deal of entertainment plus sky cinema £50 for 6 months, you can’t go wrong for that money.

Extremely easy set up and compact neat smart box which is not a glaringly clear addition to the room. Straightforward to use and opens up a wide vista of new obtainable programmes. It would be five stars, but occasional temporary image decline usually means that it is not ideal.

As well smart for my quite outdated tv with no hd port so attempted to get it heading with attachment , but emailed firm no problem supplying it to my daughter and son in regulation they think it is excellent , they have cancelled the tv subscription elsewhere.

    A cheaper option if you want movies and often deals on sky sports channels. Easy to set up and picture quality is good. Can be used with a virgin v6 box and an amazon firestick if you have a hdmi splitter which gives you the ports for each device. No need of satellite dish as it streams the channels, so internet connection needed. Can be used in conjunction with chromecast if required.

The programmes are there, but you have to look them up on a different device, then ‘search’ on this device, once you know the name of what you want to see. (ok for live programmes, but not if looking for box sets etc in the entertainment section).

    This little box is brilliant, no lag and not only do you get the best of sky channels and netflix you get your normal channels through the antenna, all the entertainment you need in 1 box.

I decided to try out now tv (and thoroughly recommend you do if fed up of main sky package prices) this box was for two reasons:1) my smart tv was an 8 year old lg and so the os was very slow for accessing things like iplayer, netflix etc. 2) it came with a 3 month subscription to the entertainment package. 97 on its own)aesthetically, the box is very small and slimline. It takes a little getting used to the menus etc, if you previously used sky or youview boxes, but it is fairly easy and comprehensive once you get used to it. Worth noting programs are streamed at 720p, not 1080p and certainly not 4k. It is pretty responsive – not lightning fast, but surprisingly quick for something that costs < £30 *note* i have around 32mbps net speeds, which does obviously help. There is access to catch-up services such as iplayer. You can watch live freeview channels, and depending on your subscriptions can watch a selection of skytv channels live (sky 1, atlantic, fox and some other top channels.
