Wonderful audio, easy to use, simple to tune etc.

Amazing item just what i will need. I preferred it so a lot i bought the extra expensive one particular with optical output which appears a lot much better on the toslink. I have not been equipped to locate my favour station magic 105. four on the internet list but the dab a single is effective high-quality. If you select the bluetooth output and link my apple iphone 7 by bluetooth i only get sound from the two. There is no output from the optical output. The optical output is effective fine in the relaxation of the modes internet radio, dab, fm, and so forth.

I bought this tuner to use with the audio enter of a henry kloss radio which has a lovely seem. Could not be far more happy with the final result. Pretty clear reception from all sources and so easy to use. Cannot believe of a a lot more cost powerful way of acquiring fantastic sounding wifi, dab, dab+ and fm.

The internet radio connects rapidly and seems great. In dab mode, the seem is very clear and thorough. Fm radio does not get the job done at all in which i stay, but i dwell in an old barn conversion in the countryside with big thick partitions, so that’s likely why. The bluetooth works no difficulty. I have not tried out the plug ‘ n’ perform mode but. Every little thing is effective from the remote manage, so i do have a gripe that batteries are not included for the distant which means you can not get started out with it straight out the box unless of course you materialize to have triple a batteries to hand.   1. Bought the unit to replace mmy failed radio tuner connected to my old fashioned ‘hifi seperates’ system. Setup was straight forward, though helps if you spend a couple of minutes reading the manual first. Wifi supports 2g and 5g channels and mine connected to my router without any issue on 5g and quickly found numerous internet radio channels. Radio sits in a cabinet about 20ft from the router and have no issues with connection drop out or buffering delays etc. Thought dab reception might be a problem, but with the supplied aerial fully extended, i had no issues with dab either. Only using the analogue output, but at least on my system, found sound quality to be very good, though this also dependant upon the quality of the broadcasted channels, which does vary. I recommend downloading the app, as this makes it much easier to control the radio, and strangely lets you control the output volume, which you cannot do any other way.

    The set up is easy and the controls are good to use. The sound is excellent as is the range of radio stations available. My husband is severely sight impaired and i want to say a big thank you to kevin, who took the time and trouble to find and add some of his favourite stations for him.     1. The dab areal that’s supplied is poor so i changed for a better quality one – you may need to factor in the cost but depends on reception quality where you live. Otherwise works as intended and the sound quality via the optical output port is great.

    I wish i bought this earlier. Set up was easy, no problem with either wifi nor bluetooth connections. It’s very compact size, and has a great sound. You can search radio stations by country and genre all around the world. I keep listening iranian traditional folk music that i have never heard before but now i totally love.

    This wi-if radio is excellent. Dab and bluetooth work well too. I wrote a critical review of a previous ocean model (the wr01c wi-if only model) because it didn’t work well with bt broadband, but the dba03r model seems to have overcome these issues. I thoroughly recommend this one (and the dab only model that i also own). The ocean customer support team and really helpful too. The only criticism is that the items frequently arrive damaged in the mail (royal mail in this instsnce).

    It compliments my old bose wave radio beautifully equipping it with dab, internet radio and bluetooth capabilities. I love the colour display and it also features a proper external antenna connection so i can connect it to my external aerial. There is a similar product to this on the market which only has a built-in telescopic antenna and no aerial socket which would be no use to me. Fast response when buttons are pushed on the included decent sized remote control with zero lag. This unit is very slim so i can place it at the front of a shelf and still store items behind it. It sounds great also (via my bose wave radio used as an amplifier) as the unit does not have any built in speaker(s). Fills a gap in the market particularly for users who prefer to still use their vintage or favourite audio equipment and gain the additional benefits this unit has to offer. It gets a thumbs up from me.

    1. This internet radio does what it says on the tin. I will list the pros and cons below. Pros:internet radiodab radioability to stream music via bluetoothusb out port on the rear. Full colour easy to read screeneasy to setup and connect a bluetooth speakerit has optical out as well although i have not tried this optioneasy to connect via wifi using wpsspace saving and compactcons:it is nearly impossible to read the time in a darkened room, despite having 20/20 vision, when the radio is on. I tried it on the brightest display setting as well. Hence the reason for a four-star review.

    This internet radio does what it says on the tin. I will list the pros and cons below. Pros:internet radiodab radioability to stream music via bluetoothusb out port on the rear. Full colour easy to read screeneasy to setup and connect a bluetooth speakerit has optical out as well although i have not tried this optioneasy to connect via wifi using wpsspace saving and compactcons:it is nearly impossible to read the time in a darkened room, despite having 20/20 vision, when the radio is on. I tried it on the brightest display setting as well. Hence the reason for a four-star review.
    1. I was surprised to find that the radio had no volume control. Additional purchase was needed to be able to use it. Otherwise, when volume is lowered with additional equipment, it works well.

  31. Great versatile innocuous little tuner for internet, dab, fm and bluetooth. With a small aerial the dab reception is location sensitive but in our summerhouse performs better than the bose in the kitchen.

      1. I cannot give a proper review of this radio as i tried to use it in a mode where i imagined it would work, but it does not. You set it up using your computer, and the portal gives you access to a very large number of broadcasters. However, i thought the audio output might work with earphones and it does not. You can hear the sound but the quality is so bad that listening is impossible. Also there is no volume control. I have not tested it with powered speakers, which is what it is advertised to work with, as i do not have any.

    Easy to use and dose everything i wanted – great sound to.

    I received the product in time as promised and once connected to my bose unit it was easy to set up and works as intended in all aspects. However, and there is a big however. I live in danmark, europe and the power unit that comes with this product does not come with a european wall plug. I had to go out to buy an adaptor so i could use it here in europe. To be able to use the dab tingi together with my bose unit, which obviously had my tv connected to its optical port, i had to get an optical splitter, which came with, yes you guessed it, a european power plug, and several other adapters for other countries, so why on earth did ocean digital not come prepared for europe?. So 3 stars given inspite of a very good product, its just not ready to be used in europe.

Com is currently about 31,000 radio stations, i found everything i needed (after registration and entering the code from the device). 5mm jack for connecting the antenna for fm / dab + is not practical – would recommend to buy the reduction of the classic antenna connector. The power supply is connected only to the uk, the eu’s reduction in the package is not (you can buy without any problems).
