    The apple tv mount does the job nicely – except for the self-adhesive mounting pad supplied. Other reviewers have reported the same problem that i encountered; the sticky pad appears to adhere to the mount and the back of the tv nice and firmly at first. A day after fixing the mount to the tv i saw that it had fallen off. The adhesive film was firmly attached to the rear of the tv, but lost its grip on the foam rubber pad. I made my own bracket to fix the mount to the tv. It does the job, holding the appletv box nice and securely. I thought that the supplier would have changed the adhesive pad by now, given the negative reviews; hence the 3 stars. I like it, but needed to spend time providing a fix.
