Revo SuperConnect – Multi-Format Deluxe Table Radio – the Revo which has to be one of the best purchases I have made for some time

Can not feel how great this radio is. Spotify connect performs a take care of, and so does every thing else (bluetooth, dab, fm and many others). The audio is magic distinct, punchy bass – all coming from only a person speaker – magic. And to best it all: it truly is a scottish merchandise (okay, created in china). Get this and you will love it.

Fantastic top quality radio, the sound and tone are exceptional. Quick to set up, although i did have to ring the revo assist line to to begin with established up the internet radio mode. They were being quite beneficial and answered the phone on the initially ring. Immediately after that simply call every little thing is functioning brilliantly, i won’t be able to end listening. Extremely happy with this buy.

Wonderful look, great sound and features (from which i use just dab+ and internet radio while). There is only one point i would have changed, i would insert decide on functionality (like push/drive) immediately to joystick as i generally consider to press it anyway in the course of the manipulation, the combination of joystick and pick button. You have obtained to get utilized to this.

Performs nicely and appears attractive. Cannot seriously take care of having the quantity turned up while for bassy things.

This is a excellent radio, the sound high quality is amazing. I can‘t see why i‘d at any time want to exchange this piece.

Really like this machineso quite a few stations to chose from and the spotify connect is awesome. Audio is superior, not the best in the market but nevertheless great.

3rd just one i have purchased for our household. A effectively deserved what hifi award winner.

Right after investing many months studying internet/dab radios i finally went ahead and bought the revo which has to be a single of the best purchases i have manufactured for some time. The sound excellent is remarkable, establish high quality and packaging on a par with apple and its so uncomplicated to use. Would recommend this to any one – i went for the piano black and silver design (which they never offer in john lewis) and even though a minimal much more pricey, seems to be gorgeous.

  1. If you wish to use this as a standalone device and never control it from your phone then it’s 5/5 wonderful product. However the third party app used to control it (undok) is excessive in it’s permission requests and that it keeps crashing (on android, no experience with ios). If i could rate only the radio:5/5 sound5/5 versatility5/5 ease of use (just get used to the joystick and it’s a much better input device as it saves retail space, love you can just put your hand over the speaker and it mutes the alarm)the app (not developed by the makers of the radio) brings my rating down.

    The sound of the radio is very good. Good deep bass without losing quality of mid and high. Packaging was good and was delivered very fast to belgium. The box had a little wear as it was described. The radio sound and looks like new.

    Great radio – alarm feature not that greatthis is a very good radio. The sound quality is excellent, the quality and look of the product is almost perfect for me. Only gripe is that i bought this as a bedside radio to wake me up in the morning; sadly the alarm is not that great – the snooze feature doesn’t work that well (at 6am i cant get it to work) the software means i can only set two alarms and worse can only snooze once. Hopefully the software is easily fixed?.

    This radio smacks of genuine quality. The kind of quality rarely found in electrical goods these days. It’s both a pleasure to use and look at. It feels like a timeless piece of furniture, solid, easy on the eye, and beautifully proportioned. The intuitive interface sounds equally good with any source, be it bluetooth, dab, local network, fm etc. I find it’s easier than expected to tune into bbc internet radio channels at 320kps, the bonus being you don’t need to use the aerial so it sits well in the kitchen worktop under the cupboards. Lovely rich, warm sound with surprisingly deep and punchy bass. It creates the wow factor sense of ‘how does such a big sound come out of such a small box’ which confirms its visual quality. A whole level or two above the usual brand, bland choices. A genuine gem, a modern classic.

    Bought this to stick in the bedroom for waking up to. Audio quality is excellent with a surprising amount of warmth which i wasn’t expecting. It looks absolutely gorgeous on the bedside cabinet too.

    I’ve read the negative posts but i have had none of the issues.
      1. Great look, great sound and features (from which i use just dab+ and internet radio though). There is only one thing i would have changed, i would add select function (like press/push) directly to joystick as i always try to push it anyway during the manipulation, the combination of joystick and select button. You have got to get used to this.

    It breaks my heart to have to leave this review as i was bought a revo superconnect for my 40th birthday by my amazing wife and family. The thought was absolutely perfect – to solve the problem we face every morning with a truly awkward radio listening experience. However, after trying the superconnect it became obvious that the user experience is a far cry from the standards set by people like apple. So, i have unfortunately asked her to send it back to the retailer. Technology moves fast and the superconnect is, in my humble opinion, already quite outdated. Here’s why:pros+ great build quality+ stylish design+ numerous connectivity features+ great sound (on “normal” eq)cons- awkward setup (especially for setting favourites)- awkward button layout on device and remote- poor wifi (50/50 odds that it will connect to our wifi – radio was in kitchen, router in the neighbouring lounge)- updating software needs even better wifi than in normal use (i had to physically unplug and take into the lounge)- despite the appearance of a large display the actual area used on it is small and therefore unreadable from across a medium sized room- badly designed web portal for managing your station favourites- many stations i listen to are not featured in the directory (though you can add them manually, if you can figure out how)- no way to manually add podcasts- badly designed controller app (undok for ios)- no song/artist display on bbc internet stations (though there is on dab but the sound quality is quite poor)- no airplay (the main way we listen to music; i can forgive my wife for not realising this)i’m sure a lot of people would be happy with this device, but for me it makes no sense to replace one awkward setup with another at the cost of a couple of hundred pounds. Revo (or really frontier silicon whose electronics all these radios are based on) really need to up their game.

      1. Contacted the company and they sent a new one, but i would rather the device had all its bits in the first place. Sounds good – as it should for the money. It uses the same operating system as roberts radios. How do they get that walnut to bend around a ninety degree angle?. Works well with spotify, but not sure spotify works well with android phones. Device is quick to boot and change from dab to internet etc, screen resolution is good.
