Wonderful audio for a compact device and extremely flexible in the sources of music you can faucet into. The only slight reservation is the selector dial is rather delicate and it is quick to overshoot your target if you convert the dial rapidly, but it can be okay when you get used to it.

Very first listened to this ruark r2 unit in a neighborhood john lewis store and was amazed at the quality of the audio output. I decided to buy the gloss black unit which seems much better than the walnut wood finish for the bedroom as i believed the twin alarm functions ( separate alarm settings for weekdays/weekends ) would be actually helpful. The dab/net radio output is definitely initially class with a warm prosperous sound. The unit was sent inside a day by amazon prime and so far i’m really impressed with the unit.
