Veho VBR-001-S SAEM S4 Wireless tooth Receiver : These DO output stereo! :-)

It is simple to use, but often although functioning the connection fails with my iphone 4s. Will not know if it can be a frequent challenge or just mine.

Paired this with a ‘btt005 bluetooth a2dp’ stuck it in my telly and i get bluetooth magic. Battery looks to past a respectable volume of time as well. You may perhaps will need to experiment with the volume of the tv set/resource and this to avert ‘hiss’. I located it better to convert the tv set volume up and this down.

Have efficiently turned my pair of veho z8 headphones into a bluetooth wireless version to hook up to my telephone. Just increase a 10cm mini jack lead and clip this to the aspect. Linked initial time, battery daily life very superior (5-6 hrs).

Initially off, the reviews of this device staying mono are incorrect. Headsets with mic that have the four make contact with sections on the three. 5mm pin will not operate and develop a mono result (this happened with my sennheiser momentums). Use the right direct, and this minor system is excellent. Audio excellent is very good for a solution in this value variety, rapid to demand and function very effectively.

Alright but only works if you use a headphone with a 3 pole pin and most headphones appear with four pole connectors these days.

VBR-001-S SAEM S4 Wireless Bluetooth Receiver with Track Control and Microphone : Amazingly low price, and nice looking, but i wanted it for listening to music and the quality just wasn’t good enough.

Excellent bit of package £9 head mobile phone socket packed up on my be aware two, provided the cellphone 2 many years much more use ideally.

Looks excellent and does the task very well.

  1. That means setup was easy, but it only works, if you place the wire just.It’s means a lot of fitting with the wire even time. So i ended up not using it a lot.

    Sound quality tinny – good for audiobooks but not so much for music.
    1. I am no audiophile, but for hitting the cross trainer or running its ideal. Had mine about 6 months and the battery is lucky to last 40 minutes.

    First off, the reviews of this device being mono are wrong. Headsets with mic that have the 4 contact sections on the 3. 5mm pin will not work and create a mono effect (this happened with my sennheiser momentums). Use the correct lead, and this little device is fantastic. Audio quality is very good for a product in this price range, quick to charge and work very well.

    First and foremost, this absolutely is a full stereo device, after reading the claims in other reviews i tested extensively and if your device supports the a2dp bluetooth profile this will provide stereo, for reference i am using it on a samsung galaxy s3 (i9300) absolutely fine, which is is bluetooth 4. 1 so i was even more presently surprised. People complaining about it not being stereo have either not checked their device’s bluetooth specs, are pairing it wrong, or using it in an environment with heavily saturated radio signals or other interference. Full disclosure, i originally bought this because i wanted to keep my non-microphone wired headset connected to the phone and only use the bluetooth mic and media controls for when a call came in, i’ve tried various android audio routing apps to channel playback over wired headphones and recording over the bluetooth mic but no joy so i am now using this device as intended and i am very happy with it. Sound quality is very good, i’ve tested with reference 320kbps songs i’ve listen to for years and versus a wired connection the sound is slightly flatter and not as dynamic but very passable. Range is also decent, accidentally forgot my phone while on a call, got a room away with one wall blocking the signal about to enter another room before it disconnected. Had some dropouts and interference while walking when i had my keys in a jacket pocket directly blocking the signal path between my trousers and lapel on that side of my body, put them in another pocket away from both devices and it’s now fine. Some slight lag between button presses for track changes in a2dp (listening to media) but absolutely no problems on calls which uses a much faster lower quality mono profile due to the nature of phone calls, so there may be a problem with latency watching video which will be using a2dp, i haven’t tested and don’t much care, i only use it for music and calls. Battery life is the only downfall, my original plan of just using the mic and controls would have stretched the battery life out for a whole day but using the device as intended i am seeing around 5 to 6 hours of battery time.

      1. Didn’t buy from amazon, but from zavvi. They don’t seem to want to publish my review, so i’ll put it on here. I’ll keep to the product as my dealings with zavvi were appalling. I have other veho devices and they usually work flawlessly and are well made, but this one is a different story. The first i received would not charge. The replacement did charge, but after a 24 hour charge it lasted 10 minutes, and when it did work the sound was appalling (mono only and very tinny). The instructions do not match what actually happens with the device.

    This worked extremely bad with earplugs. I suspect that there is no internal noise filtering in this. All sound passed via bluetooth became noise.

    1. I’ve never been a fan of bluetooth wireless headphones and tend to use earloop ones for running as they stay exactly where you put them. So with a lack of ‘fit for function’ running headphones this is the best alternative – i can use my existing headphones, the phone can stay in my pocket and perfect reception.

    Just received this, syncs perfectly with my tomtom runner 3 watch. I have more volume control than i do using my iphone (it goes louder, plenty loud enough)pause, play, previous and next track work, as does volume control with this watch. Ive only rated it 4, and not 5, as i haven’t tried it whilst running yet to see how reliable it is, and to test the battery life. I’ll update once ive used it a few times. Amazon prime 5 stars, delivery within 7 hours – same day :)*** update, not using this any more, the signal would drop if i moved my arm away too far. Got some bluetooth headphones which work about 10m away instead.

    I bought it as a gift for my daughter but it does not work at all.
    1. Bought one for my partner and it’s ok, the sound cuts out when at the gym but not the end of thevworld, just annoying 3/5i then bought one for myself but after the initial charge ran out it wouldn’t charge back up again. Contacted the seller about replacement or possible fix however i have been ignored, i was waiting to see what their customer service was like before posting my review hence the 1/5.

    This reciever was not working properly out of the box, when i plug the headphones all the way into it, the sound is distorted and i am unable to hear much at all, if i unplug my headphones a little bit, it will work fine but only through 1 earphone, this did not work properly at all and it has been sent back for a refund, i was lucky enough i have an amazon drop off point up the road from me.

    1. Sometimes not recognised properly but good overall, for the price it’s perfect. Lasts maybe 3 to 4 hours between charge so not as long as claimed.

The package arrived and i took it out the cardborard box it looked incredibly premium when i actually got to using it all the sounds were destorted making it completely inusable worst thing is they dont take post refunds so i actually have to drop it off att a amazon store in london on a piblic holiday do not buy the cable i jad with it also melted a little so seriosly avoid this cheap s***.

It was mono for me as well with one of the headphones, but then realised the problem is with the 3. 5 connector of the headphone (as it was a bit protruding, and didn’t fit nicely). Tried with another cable and it works perfectly. Also another reviewer mentioned that the volume is too soft and not adjustable, please note that if you read the manual it says that you can increase and decrease the volume by long pressing the seek buttons, and yes, by default it doesn’t use the maximum volume setting, so you might need to adjust it. However the battery life is not that great.
